THE FOUNDATION GOES DOWN

Last week they laid the foundation down on our new house. It's so exciting, we live less than a mile from the house. I do a drive by every other day I'm sure the construction works probably think I'm stalking one or all of them :)

No construction workers in sight, it was the weekend.

TIME TO CATCH UP

I was advised by a friend that I should update this here Blog. She's right!

My other half went to Vegas for a training a month ago and my preschool teacher. Yes my preschool teacher who I've kept in touch all these years drove down from Maine to stay with me. Put us together and we like to spend $$$. We went to a couple thrift stores and made a couple purchases on some nice pieces for the new house.

The one below I got for $30 and I found the same one at another blog site who saw it at a antique store for $400. Yeah for me!!!

I also got a dining table with 6 chairs for $30. My house is packed so I can't take a picture of that beauty. But trust me all cleaned up it will be gorgeous. I'm addicted to finding antiques and living on the East Coast doesn't help.

Welcome to the West 2 East Juicy Journal........

After being a blog follower for awhile I decided why not keep our friends from afar up to date with our move from Seattle to DC. Well, I'll post a picture later but for now I'll tell you a bit about us. Us consists of myself of course my handsome husband and my two wonderful cute adorable kids my daughter who is 3 and son who is 11 months. I'm a Seattle native and met my husband 12 years ago who is from upstate New York. We've been married for 4 years. We relocated to the DC area for his job 2 months ago. Recently bought a home which won't be built for 8 months (what a freakin drag) for now we are moving to a rental which has more room than our temp housing. Will post pictures of our new soon to be built home. A mound of dirt can be very exciting to look at. More to come............P.S. I miss all my friends in Sea Town. P.S.S. to let you all know my grammar is not the best.
