TOOTH ON THE LOOSE

Princesa you recently had a loose tooth. At first you had no idea why back tooth felt funny while you ate breakfast. Then later during lunch we realized that it was your front tooth that was loose. I was so happy for you to have your first tooth loose.  I called your Dad at work to let him know. I call your Tia to let her know then that evening I called abuelita to let her in on it. Your dad called your other grandma too. I was overfilled with joy at the same time sadness but the sadness part I didn't show. Your a big girl now getting your Big Girl Teeth and entering First Grade in the fall. How did this happen so fast. Anywhoo that tooth took forever to fall out. Your father and I had a bet to see when it would fall out and no one won. It took two weeks to fall out and I made it fall out. By accident! While I was brusing your teeth I made sure to be very careful around that area but OOpps it came out! At first you cried and I asked "why are you crying" you said " I don't know" I looked at you and said "oh Princesa this is a wonderful day today the Tooth Fairy is coming". You looked at me and the tears went away.

MEMORIAL WEEKEND

We took a family drive to Shenandoah National Park which is an hour away. Who knew! Not I, any who the kids enjoyed a short hike thru this beautiful park.

ROCK PATIO PROJECT

We bought all our supplies for the rock patio last year during the summer. Did we ever do it? Not last year but just two weekends ago we took on the task. It took longer than normal only because my husband is at work most of the time and the weekends are usually taken up by the kids. We started with the outlining of the boarder.

Then we sprayed the area with weed and grass killer. Then through out the week I added the weedblocker fabric. Which of course I forgot to take pictures. Then added the decorative rocks. Pictures to come soon.
