X's SAYING'S

It was time to pick O up from school and I told X to get in the car and buckle up. Lately he's been having trouble with the buckle on his car seat. I asked him if he was able to buckle up and X said "yes I did it". I said "X you did! Your growing up your a big boy now". X said "I know that's why my pee pee is so big". I was in the driver seat and I was shocked at what he said and couldn't find any words to say so I just kept my mouth shut and giggled quietly. Love your saying's X.

DISNEY WORLD

In February we went to Florida which we do every year. This year was special it was our last year of taking Baby Girl out of school to take the trip so we decided to surprise them with a trip to Disney World. I did tons of research and at times things were left up on the screen on the computer and Baby Girl at times would catch me and ask why that was up on the screen.  I would say it was just advertisements It worked. We decided not to tell the kids till we drove up to the place and the sign read DISNEY WORLD. Both grandmas join us on the trip which made it even more special. Especially when Baby Boy ran away and got lost for 5 minutes. It was nice to have those grandmas there to help with the search party :) Baby Boy was safe and said he went to go look at something for a minute. We stayed at a resort in the park and was so nice and convenient. The resort had shuttles and the stop wasn't far from the room. The last day of our trip ended with a surprise character brunch buffet which the kids enjoyed and was worth every penny. Enjoy the pictures!

THINGS THAT KIDS SAY

I say "O go upstairs and change for the day" O says "but I'm scared to go by myself" O says to X " X will you go upstairs with me to protect me from bad guys" X says " Ok".

TOOTH ON THE LOOSE

Princesa you recently had a loose tooth. At first you had no idea why back tooth felt funny while you ate breakfast. Then later during lunch we realized that it was your front tooth that was loose. I was so happy for you to have your first tooth loose.  I called your Dad at work to let him know. I call your Tia to let her know then that evening I called abuelita to let her in on it. Your dad called your other grandma too. I was overfilled with joy at the same time sadness but the sadness part I didn't show. Your a big girl now getting your Big Girl Teeth and entering First Grade in the fall. How did this happen so fast. Anywhoo that tooth took forever to fall out. Your father and I had a bet to see when it would fall out and no one won. It took two weeks to fall out and I made it fall out. By accident! While I was brusing your teeth I made sure to be very careful around that area but OOpps it came out! At first you cried and I asked "why are you crying" you said " I don't know" I looked at you and said "oh Princesa this is a wonderful day today the Tooth Fairy is coming". You looked at me and the tears went away.

MEMORIAL WEEKEND

We took a family drive to Shenandoah National Park which is an hour away. Who knew! Not I, any who the kids enjoyed a short hike thru this beautiful park.
